Yes, the Atretochoana eiselti looks like a penis. Its actually an amphibian (which I suppose doesn’t make it so different from a penis), and is very rare. Go ahead and read about it for yourself over here. There’s a whole bunch of other photos too, which are perfect for staring at with very wide eyes and showing to your neighbors. After all, this marks an important biological discovery. Other important discoveries I have made while investigating this strange specimen: 1. the existence of Telmatobius coleus – the aquatic scrotum, 2. Herpetology is the branch of zoology concerned with the study of amphibians and “herp” is the vernacular for these animals, and 3. the Pigbutt Worm/ Flying Buttocks also exists. Now go get your sweet selves one of these and play hide the caecilian.
