Review: Hand Solo

As a huge Star Wars fan, I was immediately drawn to the name (it is too good, right?) of this toy but as many of you know, I do not have a penis, so as much as I thought it looked great, I needed someone else to try it for me. Our friend Geoffrey was kind enough to take one for the team and try out this innovative masturbation sleeve and I’ll be honest, he wasn’t head-over-heels in love with this toy (which usually leads me to not pick it up) but I thought it had enough good points and fit a certain “hole “in the world of penis-related toys, so we picked it up and added it to our collection.

Here is some of what Geoffrey had to say:

Let’s start with the good points; the textured silicone surface is fantastic. It looks and feels a little odd when you first touch it (especially if you’re used to bare-hands-only masturbation), but once you get it lubed up the bumps and ridges become a really enjoyable surface. It’s smooth and hard enough that you don’t need a ton of lube, either, although you will probably need to reapply a couple of times to keep it from getting sticky.

The biggest problem I had is that the “wings” of the toy don’t wrap all the way around. You wind up getting a thrumming, textured sensation for about half of your penis while the other half is still getting rubbed by the back of your thumb or whatever (lots of possible grips with this one). It’s kind of a distracting disconnect, and made they toy more fun for teasing play than for straight-to-the-point wanking.

I think guys who like to play and tease and take a while sort of toying around with themselves will enjoy this one a lot. It’s not a great tool for getting yourself off hard and fast, or a full sleeve in the sense of something that’s going to envelop you completely. It’s made for gliding up and down and around in kind of impulsive patterns, and it does that great.

I’d like to add that I think this also has a lot of potential as a tool for making hand jobs on someone else a lot of fun, of you catch my drift. And because the vibe is removable, you can replace the vibrator if it ever dies making this a toy that could last a lifetime!

So there you have an honest assessment of Hand Solo and if you are thinking it might be a fun toy to try.. check it out here.

Thanks Geoffrey!
